The mission of CURBS Ambassadors is to assist the advancement and improvement of undergraduate research at the University of Florida by serving as liaisons between the Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students (CURBS) and the student body.
The CURBS Ambassadors are a diverse group of undergraduate leaders who have a passion for making a positive impact in every aspect of undergraduate research. As CURBS Ambassadors, we not only serve as liaisons but also as official representatives of CURBS to other organizations on campus. We accomplish this goal by engaging in several tasks, such as holding office hours for students needing help, going to primary educational institutions to introduce students to research, holding events in which students are able to maximize their research experience, connecting students to faculty and presenting workshops in which students can learn different skills that allow them to become a top researcher. As CURBS Ambassadors, we are committed to constructing the best undergraduate research institution in the country and maintaining ourselves as the best research institution in Florida
