The Third Annual Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) is the statewide symposium that brings together undergraduate researchers from all disciplines and all fields. Whether you are at a public, private, large, or small institution, and no matter what department you are in, this is an excellent opportunity to share your work with your peers, listen to timely workshops, and talk with graduate recruiters.
Over 200 students have participated in previous events. The meeting begins with a networking reception Friday Feb. 22, 2013. On Saturday Feb. 23, you will have an opportunity to present your research and attend workshops such as How to Apply to Graduate School, What to Expect as a Graduate Student, Funding Opportunities, and Using Libraries to Make the Most out of Your Research, and Career Options in the Life Sciences. Additionally, graduate recruiters will be there to talk to you about your future plans.
