The University of Florida's Undergraduate Research Symposium is the annual showcase of the accomplishments of undergraduate researchers across campus. All undergraduate students are welcome and encouraged to participate. We invite all students, faculty, administrators, parents, and interested others to attend this event during which students present the results of their year-long efforts. The Symposium will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm at the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom.
Poster Preparation Guidelines and Tips
1. Posters will be mounted on foam boards with clips and displayed on an easel, and must be either 30"x40" or 3'x4'. NO LARGER POSTERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Posters may be displayed in landscape or portrait orientation. We will supply the posterboard, easels, and clips.
2. Should your poster require table space (for an interactive or three-dimensional component), or power, please contact Donna Jackson and describe the reason for your request.
3 .Please see your research mentor for guidelines in your discipline for designing a poster. Your research mentor must approve your poster prior to the presentation.
4. Poster presenters will have 30 minutes prior to the exhibit to mount posters and prepare their stations.
5. Presenters will be responsible for staying in the vicinity of one’s poster all through the designated session period.
