The Undergraduate Research Council (URC) is an exciting initiative started by the Center for Undergraduate Research in order to increase coordination, share resources, and ultimately foster a sense of community between research-oriented student organizations on campus. We hold monthly assemblies on every
last Tuesday at 5:00pm
at the SAI in the Reitz Union. This is an opportunity for your organization to get advice and resources from other organizations, strike potential collaborations, and for your organization to reach a broader audience through our
The URC will ultimately comprise of student org representatives who are selected by their Executive Board to attend council meetings. During these meetings, each representative will be able to present their organization’s upcoming events and goals. We understand each organization has its own specific needs but we hope that, through discussion, we can allocate resources effectively since there are several societies whose goals align very closely.
