Dr. Walter O’Dell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology in the College of Medicine. Dr O’Dell’s lab (Medical Image and Computation Analysis Lab) is an essential component of the Medical Physics Graduate Program and provides students with multiple research opportunities related to discovering and applying novel image analysis and image-based computational techniques for improved detection, follow-up, and treatment of cancer.  Dr. O’Dell has mentored 1 Emerging Scholar and 9 University Scholars through CUR and involved others in his lab doing research.
