I am delighted to welcome you to not only the 21st Annual UF Undergraduate Research Symposium, but the second Virtual Undergraduate Research Symposium. This year the event grew to over 330 posters, with over 400 student presenters. We are excited to include many of our freshmen Course Based Undergraduate Research Course teams who are also presenting their research. The virtual format challenged the students to not only make their poster, but to also make a short video of their presentation. The comment boxes allow you to ask them questions and to comment on their work. I applaud all the students who met this challenge are ready to interact with you about their research. I also thank all of the faculty research mentors who helped them with this new format.
Go Gators!
Go Research!
The Undergraduate Research Symposium provides a chance for students to present their research from afar. All areas of research are accepted, and this is a great opportunity for students to present their summer work, such as research done at an REU, abroad, or at the University of Florida. Presenting at the symposium gives students valuable presentation experience, as well as a place to network and learn about research in a variety of fields.
Please feel free to share using the hashtag #2021UFCURSYM. We want to share your posts with others and are very proud of everything the students have accomplished.
