Project Description

The primary field of this project is psychiatric genetics in Dr. Mathews’ PGENeS lab. This project investigates genetic underpinnings of Tourette Syndrome and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. We utilize microarray and sequencing data to investigate polymorphic and structural variants in human genome that contribute to the risk of developing TS and OCD in large datasets. This project is purely bioinformatic and statistical in nature. No wet lab is involved.

Additional Requirements:  Basic understanding (and willingness to learn) Bash, Python, R, and genetics.
