Dance History intersections with other arts histories, Alexander Technique (especially arts and neuroscience applications), Laban Movement Analysis (observational analyses in Dance, Music, and Theatre applications), Developmental movement and theory, Dance Composition/Choreographic Theory, Somatic practices (mind-body), research on Dance therapeutic interventions especially in neurological spectrums and disorders, Neuroscience and Psychology/Social Science applications in Dance, Educational Theory, Feminist theory, Queer theory, women’s and gender studies (applications to performance and choreography), critical race theory (applications to performance, criticism, and choreography), autoethnographic and autobiographical creation and production of art.
