Project Description

My laboratory is just starting this semester (I don’t have a UF webpage yet, see here for my past research, https://www.researchgate.net/profile/John_Bowden2). Looking for motivated undergraduates to help set up the lab (instruments, methods, projects) this semester and get training for various workflows and instrumentation. Moving forward, there are plenty of opportunities to work on existing projects and for those who are interested, there are opportunities for independent projects as well. Students can expect to get experience in analytical chemistry, mass spectrometry, chromatography and omics-based methods. Most projects will focus on using mass spectrometry to help better understand health and disease in both humans and wildlife.
