The humanities are at the core of medicine. The field is more than biochemistry and anatomy; it is a purpose-driven cause that requires empathy, social awareness, and ethics.

Though often overlooked, the fields of anthropology, music, art, policy, literature, psychology, sociology, and philosophy are all effective tools that can be used to advance the field of medicine.

Learn about these tools, hear from a professor and researcher in the field, and understand how the important role of the medical humanities in the pandemic.

Attend the “Humanities in Medicine” workshop presented by the Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students (CURBS). This workshop will take place on April 13th from 4-5pm in the Reitz Union, Room G310. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about this event! Go Gators and Go Research!
