Research Experiences for Undergraduates, also known as REUs, are an ideal way for students to gain concentrated research experience, visit and work at schools they may consider for graduate studies, and research in areas they might not be able to at their home institution. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), REU programs may cover their students’ housing, food, and travel costs, and some even offer stipends upwards of several thousand dollars to support their students during their research experiences.

If you are interested in applying for an REU this upcoming summer, consider coming out to the “REU Panel” workshop, presented by the Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students (CURBS), on October 14th, 2021 from 4-5 pm at the Reitz Union Room G310. If you have any questions regarding this event, do not hesitate to reach out to us!
