Are you interested in finding research that gets you out of the lab and into the field? Do you want to gain practical experience in the fields of ecology, environmental science, or marine science but just aren’t sure where to start? Are you simply interested in the cutting-edge environmental research being done at UF and want to learn more? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider attending the “Research in the Environment” workshop presented by the Center for Undergraduate Research (CURBS). In this hour-long workshop, two leaders of ecological research at UF, marine science researcher Dr. Donald Behringer, and researcher of wildlife ecology and conservation Dr. Brett Scheffers, will present their work and offer advice to students looking to become involved in this field of research. This workshop will take place on Monday, February 7th from 4pm – 5pm in the Reitz Union, Room G325. If you have any questions regarding this event do not hesitate to reach out to us! Go Gators and Go Research!

This workshop will be recorded, and UF Online students may join us via live stream at bit.ly/curbsworkshop.
