The event will be held virtually March 25th, 2021, from 2-430pm.
The Undergraduate Research Symposium is a chance for students to present their research. All areas of research are accepted, and this is a great opportunity for students to present their summer work, such as research done at an REU, abroad, or at the University of Florida. Presenting at the symposium gives students valuable presentation experience, as well as a place to network and learn about research in a variety of fields.

2:00 – 2:30pm – Symposium Virtual Welcome on Zoom
2:30 – 3:30pm – Poster Session #1
3:30 – 4:30pm – Poster Session #2
Poster presentation: The poster presentations will start at 2pm and will finish at 4pm. Half of the time you will be on your poster page, the other half you will be the audience for the other presenters. Student presenters will submit a video poster pitch and an image of the poster to be displayed on our virtual symposium site. The virtual symposium is only accessible to UF Faculty and Staff with a current Gatorlink login. Students will be participating via zoom links on their pages.
Students with last names that start with A-K will present their poster from 2:30-3:30pm and then they will be the audience from 3:30-4:30pm. Students with the last names that start with L-Z will present their posters from 3:30-4:30pm but will be the audience from 2:30-3:30pm. Students are encouraged to add a zoom link as the first comment on their page if they would like to have to opportunity to interact live with their peers, however, this is not required.
