FURLS' Beginnings

In January of 2019, the first inaugural FURLS was held here at the University of Florida. At the event, 42 student representatives from 16 Florida institutions met to discuss best practices in undergraduate research leadership. Through roundtable discussions and participant-led workshops, FURLS created a dynamic network of communication between these student leaders in undergraduate research.
