Biography

Hello! I am a second-year undergraduate majoring in Statistics. I conduct research at the Dr. Mitchell UF Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program. Brain tumors are notoriously difficult to treat because of the blood brain barrier’s exclusion of immune cells and modern immunotherapies. I work with a group aiming to use gene therapy, specifically virotherapy, to improve the treatment of glioma.

This is my second year in CURBs and I have loved every minute of it! I have had the opportunity to meet the most wonderful people and learn about inspiring research. As Director of Multimedia, I hope to make our resources – whether that be workshops, peer advising, or our Research Database, as helpful and easy to use as possible.
