Hi! I am a fourth year microbiology and cell science major with minors in bioinformatics and pathogenesis, and I am aiming to get my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. I currently perform research in both the Emerging Pathogens Institute and the College of Veterinary Medicine on antibiotic and bacteriophage resistance of the pathogenic bacteria Burkholderia pseudomallei.

My research interests include astrobiology, bacteriophage therapy, and microbiome analysis. Outside of research I enjoy reading, volunteering, and traveling. This is my third year in both CURBS and its Campus Outreach committee, and I am looking forward to spreading my love of research with the UF community! Getting involved with CURBS has been an extremely rewarding experience and definitely one of the best decisions of my undergraduate career.
