Director of Workshops (he/him)

Hey! I'm a fourth-year Biology and Anthropology major going into my third year with CURBS!

I am in my 4th year of conducting research in Dr. Stacpoole’s lab within the division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism of UF’s College of Medicine. Currently, my research explores the consequences of loss-of-function mutations in the mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase complex utilizing cell-culturing and western blotting to quantify protein expression.

In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, going on walks, and bowling! CURBS has allowed me to share undergraduate research opportunities with students of all disciplines and facilitate workshops to explore a variety of interests. I am so excited to see the workshops hosted by our ambassadors this year and connect with you all!
