Hello! I am a fourth-year on the premed track studying microbiology & cell sciences along with a minor in health disparities in society. This will be my third and final year being a part of CURBS, and is my first year on the executive board!

I have been involved in a research lab since my sophomore year at the Emerging Pathogens Institute. The project I have been a part of focuses on how antibiotic sprays have affected the bacterial communities in conventional and organic citrus groves in Florida. I have also recently become a PACISI Research Intern this past Spring semester, and we are a clinical research team under the UF Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine that focuses on a variety of research initiatives that work to improve the standard of care in the PICU.

Being a part of CURBS has been a great experience of my undergraduate career, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to help further the goals of this organization!
