One of the main reasons I got involved in research is because it provides me with an outlet to use the information that I learn through academics and put it in a laboratory setting. This is very appealing to me because the knowledge that is gained from research has the potential to create new innovations in the area of medicine and dentistry. Through dental research, I hope to discover information that can influence the clinical setting.
