The purpose of this research study is to look for an association between diet and breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Microorganisms in our stomach are influenced by diet and lifestyle changes, and these changes may be important for breast cancer prevention. Our objective is to discover what role these microorganisms play in breast cancer development by analyzing the stool samples of women with a positive breast cancer diagnosis and of women with normal mammograms.
