Research Project

Examining Waterways Near UF Campus for Antibiotic Resistance

We plan to collect samples from up to four waterway sites over three to-be-determined sample times, using the method outlined in Gallagher & Reisinger (2020) to promote biofilm growth at these sites. We will be testing our samples for the presence of vancomycin, methicillin, and ampicillin as well as coliforms.
