Mapping Changes in Root Flow with Huanglongbing (Citrus Greening)

The purpose of my project is to provide a route towards a cure for citrus greening, a disease that decreases fruit production. Huanglongbing (HLB), is the bacteria responsible for this disease, creates a plaque within the roots and prevents the citrus tress from obtaining thee nutrients they need. The project aims to acquire additional tools to better understand the critical role of bacterial load, movement, and disease progression at the root level.
