Building an extreme environment bioreactor is important for studying biology outside the strict set of conditions imposed on us by our typical equipment. If exceptional growth parameters are required, like extremely high or low temps, what DIY options are available? Not many, and at that, nothing cheap. Additionally, how do we take measurements of growth continuously without interrupting these extreme conditions? This project solves these issues and offers a wide range of customizable growth parameters for optimal growth settings in a large range of extreme habitats.
