Nucleic Acid – Collagen Complex?

When DNA and collagen are mixed at certain concentrations fibers are formed. These fibers could potentially be useful to solving the challenges of vascularizing engineered tissues for regenerative medicine. The purpose of this experiment is to see if immobilized fibers will interact with collagen and DNA to continue the formation of the fibers. I will be observing how the fibers interact with each other and the structures they form.
