Biography

Vedika is a third-year pursuing a double major in Public Health and Economics, along with a certificate in Data Analytics. She plans to build a career in policy and later attend law school, both with an emphasis on health equity. Currently, she conducts research in the Department of Health Outcomes and Bioinformatics, where she studies health implementation sciences with an emphasis on HPV and its vaccine. This semester, she is also serving as a Research Intern at the Brookings Institution’s Center for Health Policy within the Economic Studies department. On campus, Vedika serves as Director of Outreach for the Student Government Agency STAAR and contributes as a writer for Spoon UF. Outside of academics, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, antique shopping, and watching her favorite reality TV shows.
