
Biography
Matheus Kunzler Maldaner is a senior Data Science major, born and raised in Brazil, with a passion for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence research. He conducts research on Neurosymbolic AI at the Florida Institute for National Security and remotely at Carnegie Mellon University’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute on Generative AI models. Outside of research, Matheus is the President of UF’s Data Science and Informatics organization, co-founder of UF’s Signal Processing Society, and serves on the executive board of UF’s AI Club, where he works to make AI education and research more accessible. After graduating this May, he will research AI Agents at Microsoft over the summer before returning to UF to pursue a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence Systems”
