Biography

Anne Fang is a senior majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Health Disparities in Society. She is a University Scholar, conducting research under the guidance of Dr. Piyush Jain in the Department of Chemical Engineering. In the Jain lab, she engineers CRISPR/Cas systems to create next-generation editors and more efficient disease detectors. Outside of CURBS, Anne volunteers on the oncology and hematology unit with UF Footprints and at GRACE Marketplace. In her free time, Anne enjoys weightlifting and painting.
