The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition challenges over 300 teams from more than 40 countries within synthetic biology research. This November, the UF 2019 iGEM Team received a Silver Medal for their work with the Synthetic Cellular Recorders Integrating Biological Events (SCRIBE) system.
