The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition challenges over 300 teams from more than 40 countries within synthetic biology research. This October, the UF 2024 iGEM Team received a Gold Medal for their work with the (SEPSYNTH) Bone Marrow Organoids as a Model to Study Sepsis system.
