Biography

Danna Leyton is a senior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Latin American Studies. She currently serves as a Junior Fellow within the Political Science department, researching the media representation of women who’ve experienced gender violence in both Colombia and Mexico. She’s also a part of the Bob Graham Center’s Askew Scholar’s program, where her focus centers on nutritional inequities via urban design throughout Florida. Outside of CURBS, she’s engaged in volunteering at GRACE Marketplace, HCA, and tutoring English as a second language through CBOB. Some of her hobbies include traveling, reading, collaging, and playing a sport with friends.
