Biography


Jailyn Giron-Khalil is a fourth-year political science major on the pre-law track. She is currently doing research for Pleasant Street Historic Society, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the history of Gainesville’s oldest and largest continuously inhabited Black neighborhood. She is interested in studying election data and judicial review. She also serves as vice president for the Gator Society of Pre-Law Women and as an ambassador for Florida’s chapter of the Harvard Latin Empowerment and Development Conference. Outside of school, Jailyn enjoys live music, playing Pokémon, and reading Spanish literature.
