Biography

Hello! Daniel is a fourth-year Biochemistry major and is excited to be serving as Director of Internal Affairs for a second term. His current research at the Cancer and Genetics Research Complex focuses on the biochemical pathways that cause EMT, a type of mutation of cancer cells defined by malignancy and extreme survival capabilities. Research has always been something Daniel wanted to get into, but felt scared that it was too advanced for him. CURBS has directly impacted his understanding of research and enabled him to feel more confident in his abilities as a researcher. Other than CURBS, Daniel is also a part of the pre-health organization AED and Equal Access Clinic.
