Biography

Poorvi Narendranath is a senior majoring in Biology with a minor in Health Disparities in Society. She has conducted research in both biomedical engineering and neurology, and she is currently working on a project in Dr. Joshua Wong’s lab analyzing deep brain stimulation data from Parkinson’s patients to identify brain activity patterns associated with symptom improvement. Outside of CURBS, she volunteers at Shands through Hospitaliteam, provides support to patients at Haven Hospice, and assists domestic violence survivors at Peaceful Paths. In her free time, Poorvi enjoys movie nights with her friends, traveling, and cooking.
