Looking for undergraduate students to help with research?
There are many ways to contribute to the vibrant undergraduate research culture at UF. Start with our brief online module: Mentoring Undergraduate Researchers. ​

  • Promote your research to undergraduate students.​
    • To promote a research opportunity to undergraduate students, fill out –this form– and send to cur.aa.ufl.edu. We will post your opening on the CUR Canvas for a limited time.To understand todays undergraduate researchers, we invite you and postdoc graduate students to watch brief online module
    • CUR Scholars Programs are a great way to encourage a holistic research experience. CUR staff handles program administration so you can focus on the research. Students should register for a variable credit[0-3] research course numbers offered by all the departments. This will ensure that the students are recognized on their transcripts.
      • Founded in 2000, the University Scholars Program is the longest-standing research program at the University of Florida.
      • Emerging Scholars Program is designed specifically for 1st and 2nd year students embarking on their first university-levelresearch experience. 
    • Network with undergraduate students.​
      • The Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students hosts Research EXPO, an annual networking event for faculty to meet undergraduate students. This is not only an opportunity to recruit students but an informal event for students eager to learn about the research happening at UF. We encourage you to bring any materials from your research projects to engage students. You are also welcome to bring along your graduate students and current undergraduate researchers to share about their research experience. 
    • Encourage your undergraduate research mentees to disseminate their work.​
