Sarah Garfield

Biography
Sarah is a fourth-year Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience and English double major with a minor in Statistics. She has been in multiple labs at UF, but her current research focuses on aggression and Big Five Personality Factors through the University Scholars Program. She recently also completed a research project in Edinburgh, Scotland, on the relationships of interpersonal trauma and early maladaptive schemas in a female forensic population. She aims to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and is broadly interested in the study of trauma, especially the fields of forensic psychology and global mental health. Outside of research, Sarah is the Editor-in-Chief of Tea Literary & Arts Magazine, Speaker Director for TEDxUF, and is in the UF Honors Program. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, collecting records, and (badly) playing the harmonica.
